Circus Moumo:
Our two year anniversary festival!

Join us for our 2-year anniversary festival on Friday, September 27, and Saturday, September 28, as we transform into Circus Moumo! This celebration weekend will feature tons of new boulders, themed studio classes, parties, a boulder open competition, a circus show, and much, much more. Ticket holders will receive festival wristbands, granting full access to this 1.5-day event!

The highlight of the celebration is the boulder open, taking place on Saturday. During the open, all participants will receive a scorecard and be challenged with completing as many new boulders in the gym as possible within a 2.5-hour window. There are two types of Circus Moumo tickets, each with a different boulder open start time.

The goal of the boulder open is for everyone to have fun, regardless of their climbing level or experience. With more boulders than anyone could complete, there will be something for climbers of all skill levels. After turning in your scorecard, the five climbers who top the most boulders will qualify for the grand finals.

On Saturday evening, participants will gather to watch the grand final extravaganza. Each scorecard will also serve as a lottery ticket for a raffle with sponsored prizes from some of our friends and partners.

The festivities kick off on Friday evening with a pre-party and a youth boulder open. Throughout the 1.5-day celebration, there will be various circus-themed events, culminating in a full-blown circus show (!) leading up to the finals. Our café will offer special menu items, including pizza for hungry guests.

Anniversary Program

Friday 27/9

  • Come try boulders set in a style you’ve NEVER seen before… Our route setters will have cooked up a few extra circus:y boulders for your enjoyment.

  • This will be the biggest merch drop in Moumo history. Circus Moumo participants will get first access to exclusive new merch and new versions of classic designs.

  • A special youth Boulder Open in the basement!

  • 4-Beat is a dynamic vinyasa flow class born out of the Rocket Yoga system. The core of the practice is the alignment of the breath to the slow, regular beat of the music. Focusing the mind and the breath on a 4-Beat count leads to a sharp, single-pointed and unwavering ability to concentrate.

  • Moumo resident DJ loop line plays clown:y house all evening in the hall!

  • Our friends at Pompette will provide us with the first examples of their fine wine in CANS.

  • We’ve invited Frida Starvid to treat us all to an extra sweet Friday after work Yin yoga session, perfect to calm down after a week of work or stretch out a after climbing! This class will feature a special cocktail at café Moumo post session - everything to prep your body and soul for the Friday evening and the upcoming weekend!

Saturday 28/9

  • Johanna Eklund is one of Moumos brilliant yoga teachers. Johanna’s yoga classes are signified by a focus on physical challenge at a slow and steady pace.

    If you are a climber curious about yoga, this is an excellent opportunity to try one of our very best yoga classes. Throughout the anniversary Moumo is waivering the cost of yoga classes to our climbing members!

  • For those who participated last year this one will be the same! Everyone gets a scorecard to complete as many boulders as they can.

  • In this class we will focus on the understanding and foundations of yoga. You will be guided through various poses, sun salutations, meditation and conscious breathing This is a class open to complete beginners or to students who wishes to enjoy a grounded and all-rounded class.

  • Although Eric Ernerstedt teaches some fantastic vinyasa classes at Moumo, he is perhaps better known for his Saturday movement classes.

    Movement training, or movement culture is a cross-disciplinary way of approaching movement that doesn’t limit itself to one isolated style or method. In a class you may find elements of gymnastics, acrobatics, organic strength training, martial arts, dance or even parkour. One of the main goals for the practitioner is to recognize the common threads behind each discipline and how to transpose the knowledge gained from one method onto another – to become a better and more diverse ‘mover’ overall.

    With consistent effort and attention, this practice may help to unlock keys to move in ways you previously thought impossible.

  • Have you been pondering learning pirouettes, dreaming of deep pliés and pining for pointed feet but never had the chance to try? Then mosey on down to Moumo and brave a basic ballet class! We will bend stretch, point, flex, balance and jump for a nimble ninety minutes.

  • Featuring Sandra Lones and DJ Leah Pam.

    A yoga class infused with the rhythm and synergy of live DJ music, creating a dynamic and immersive experience that energizes both body and mind.

  • What would a birthday celeberation be without cake!?

    Make sure you make your way to the reastaurant at 17:00 for happy hour. Experience Café Moumo’s new menu, our Pompette drinks selection, and a special birthday cake.

  • The top 5 men and women from the climbing open will go to the finals. The finals will feature a very special MC appearance by our very own Matilda Söderlund and DJ Liquid Bill.

  • Feeling lucky?! Participants of the climbing competition are automatically entered into our raffle. Lots of prizes from our partners and sponsors.

  • Following the finals there will be a after party in the café featuring an all-star DJ lineup and various circus monkeys.
